I remember how you spoke of your dreams
then smiled
How starring in your eyes 
was promises for the future
then I smiled
How you played with your ring finger
with other rings
because you felt naked without
that mental connection
and physical feeling of commitment
You told me how 
pillows filled your bed
so sleeping at night 
didn't feel so lonely
I still smell the aromas of
a clean house
and fresh linens
through the prepared meals made for one
while the dinner table was set for two
You practice through spoken tongues
of positive conversations and statements
without using if, but, when or never
cause those words don't exist in your mental vocabulary

or within your faithful spirit
Finally,
I remember how you waited for that call
those letter mails
emails and textes
for:
I miss you
I love you
will you marry me?
and smiled everyday when none of these
show themselves in your presence
So I go back to your smile
that's all I can remember
because I forcefully erase
every tear drop
pain in your heart
and anger in trembles
See, 
meeting Mr Right was impossible
when you were still committed to
Mr. Unreliable
not quite divorced from Mr Disappointment
and still sharing your body and bed
with Mr. Unfaithful.
Be patient is hard to hear
blessings will never fall like your tears
and you stay balled up in a fetal
until this nightmare disappears.....
