WORD FLOW

I was wrapped up in her first words
and I knew by the title alone
she would have more than my attention
of the ADH twin I am
every annunciation was erotic sounds to my ears
but she wasn't reading erotic
every stanza was kinetic
I deciphered what I heard
and her lines were perfectly clear
so I hear her with my eyes
I was in rare form
my attention span completely silenced
all chatter in the room around me
she kept her eyes closed through her speech
so I joined her to lip sync her words I speak
She grasp the mic as if it was her crutch
and I don't blame her
I was paralyzed by every verbal touch
she had me in a hold
like straight jackets in white rooms
and I was crazy enough to consume
her words,
whether they be truth or lies
in my mind
her voice had plenty of room
I melted in her finale's
see she had:
applause's
snaps
you say dat
and standing O's
ongoing inside my head
before her set was done
some how her piece
indirectly about me
made us one
and just letting you all know
that I would be the front seat
to her public poetic speak
at any WORD FLOW show
in Philly,
the 29th is where I'll be
for her chance
to speak to me....
