Now I know this request is a bit personal
and being that close doing poetry
can be a bit sensual
but I want a poem
your poem
only I, will be the first to hear
your poem, a new poem
Inhale, my listening
Exhale, your poetry
Bring me closer to your world
Bring me closer through your words
My eyes are closed
closed to seeing your expressions to my expression
watch as my smile gives you applause
closed eyes squinting to that perfect metaphor
can you hear my heart beat increasing
every time you pause
lift me with delivery
control me with a body
message me with an ending
and read your poem in my ear
