Off balance 
Off guard
Easily blinded in my walk
Not once, but twice, slipping under my nose
Practices unseen of a man's role
Watching quickly every time
my responsibility slips through my grasp
I respond in laughs
while my smile covers up me being mad
making appointments for disappointments
this is not what she asked for
not a contract for volunteer worker
but hiring for a permanent position in employment
which requires nothing but hard work
that one shot at a target
without being her next exit wound
To be a medic to heal her
An arsonist to start and spread the fire....with love
a true messenger of the spirit
but this time I'm born from the womb
not her born by the rib
Looking to regain balance in chivalry
The rescue squad in a broken heart scenario
givng her hope to dying days
I need to regroup, rebuild
and restart my sway......
